Seven Magic Mountains, Nv
Towering among the desert landscape in a dry lake-bed near Jean, Nevada, is an enormous art display built by Swiss artist, Ugo Rondinone. Easily accessed (and seen) from I-15, Seven Magic Mountains is a site you won't want to miss. It's a short 10-miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada and offers free parking for visitors. No restrooms or other amenities are available, so come prepared with plenty of water, especially if you visit in the heat of the summer.
From Las Vegas, follow I-15 south to Sloan Road (exit 25). Turn left to Las Vegas Boulevard. Drive approximately 7 miles south on Las Vegas Boulevard until you see Seven Magic Mountains on your left.
From Los Angeles, drive north on I-15 to Jean, Nevada. Turn right on NV-161 towards Las Vegas Boulevard. Drive approximately 5 miles north on Las Vegas Boulevard until you see Seven Magic Mountains on your right.
The unique, bright stacked boulders that comprise Seven Magic Mountains are worth seeing, especially if you enjoy art and photography. Built in May of 2016, it's only set to be on display for two years. So if it's on your list of sites to see around Las Vegas, Nevada, we urge you to visit Seven Magic Mountains sooner than later!
