Notes:  About 30 minutes northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada is Mount Charleston. Take Kyle Canyon Road west from the 95 and follow nearly to the end of the canyon road. Just before the restaurant at the top (which has delicious food!), there's a turnoff on your right that will take you to the Little Falls parking lot. It's closer trail access if you park in the west lot, but the Little Falls hiking trail can be accessed from either lot. The Little Falls hiking trail has a gradual incline that's got a well defined, wide path. It's not a very long hike and is manageable for all ages. There are plenty of places to stop along the side and take a breather, should you need it. As you get close to the falls, you will literally feed a significant drop in temperature and can smell the water in the air. It's especially refreshing in the summertime, however, be aware there can sometimes be swarms of bees near the falls.

Trail conditions are always changing, so be careful out there and TREAD LIGHTLY.  Leave no trace. Pack in. Pack out.
