Dinosaur park, Sd
One of the Black Hills original tourist attractions is Dinosaur Park, built in 1936. Located in Rapid City, South Dakota, Dinosaur Park sits atop a ridge of sandstone that gives phenomenal 360-degree views 100 miles in any direction of the Black Hills. Stairs lead to the top of the ridge and all along the way, you'll find large sculptures of dinosaurs from the Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous periods. Your kids will love climbing on the dinosaurs and you'll love the spectacular views! Win-win all around.
Entrance to the park is free.
